How to 3D print a surfboard with a basic 3D printer? (Updated)

Last year, Geert Groenewegen message us if we wanted to equip his new 3d printed surfboard with Van der Waal surf grips.

"I now have a transparent board that looks very good! I don't want to wax this beautiful looking board, so I'm thinking about using your product"

As I love to be part of this kind of projects, and to connect with people that, as I do, like to think differently and that try to question the status quo, immediately said yes and send Geert a couple of packs for him to install on his new board.

In 2025 Geert contacted me again, as he was printing a new version of his 3D printed surfboard and of course my answer immediatly was yes! Let's do it.

Again, you can watch the all process in the video below, round 2, a stronger, lighter and better version of his board, with Van der Waal on it.

Super proud to be part of this, watch the video below and don't forget to follow Geert on Youtube and Instagram

Both video and image from Geert Groenewegen.
